topic Not able to use Spotify Developer API in Spotify for Developers

So, I was using Spotify Developer API for both my Twitch/songify and my stream deck, but apparently the update means we can either choose one or the other... But both allowing my viewers to choose songs and also being able to change my music with the stream deck instead of tabbing out are a key feature of my stream but now I am forced to only be allowed to use 1.
Is there a work around for this that I'm missing or do I just need to make things more difficult for myself by manually tabbing out to do one or the other?

Seems a little unfair for creators.

Hi @Jemmyb00

Thanks for posting in the Spotify Community, and Welcome!

I understand you’d like to create a second app to support two different use cases.

While it may not be the solution you were hoping for, Spotify allows you to use a single Client ID across multiple applications. Just keep in mind that all usage will count toward the same rate limit, so you may reach that limit more quickly.

Hope this helps! If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
