My Question or Issue

I am building a spotify / tinder type app for adding songs to playlists by listening to a certain vibe and swiping left and right. I am not able to add the songs to any playlist because spotify is rejecting it.

The issue in my Ai vibe coding is this:
Root cause — not a code bug: Spotify updated their API policy in November 2024 and removed the ability for apps in "development mode" to write to playlists via POST /v1/playlists/{id}/tracks. Your token has the right scopes, you own the playlists — Spotify's platform itself is blocking it for all development-mode apps that haven't gone through Extended Quota Mode approval.
