My Question or Issue

On December 02,2020, I completed an application for a commercial license from Spotify. I provided a bunch of information and I was told to expect 3 or 4 weeks before someone reached out to me but I have heard nothing. Can someone check on my application? or provide a more accurate time line for engagement. Thanks Herb Rush

Hi! No one has "reached out to me" about the application for a commercial license from Spotify. Assuming one of two things is happening here. 1) No one has looked at my application. Understandable, if this is the case - you just tell me and give me an idea of when Spotify might look at it. 2) Spotify has denied my request for a commercial license. Possible. Understandable. I would like a chance to understand what is objectionable to what I have outlined. If we cannot find a way to work together - that is fine to. There are other fish in the sea - as they say. Could some one just let me know one way or another. Thanks

Spotify will send you an email once they have reviewed your Commercial License Request (regardless of whether or not you are approved).

In my situation, it took 7 months for Spotify to get back to me about my request and I was "not a strong fit for a conversation with our partnership team." I would recommend not banking on getting approved. I have looked through every post on this forum and have not heard a single story of someone getting approved.
