topic A question about an open source library in Spotify for Developers

Hi, I have a question regarding a lightweight Spotify client I'm developing for my own personal use. My application is already able to use Spotify's official APIs for things such as searching and controlling playback. However, I'm looking for a lightweight way to handle actual music playback on Windows without relying on the Web Playback SDK, because keeping a web component/browser running alongside my application uses additional resources on my older laptop. I have seen unofficial projects such as librespot and librespot-python that can provide Spotify playback, but before using anything like that, I want to ask Spotify directly whether this is permitted. I want to make it very clear that I am NOT trying to download Spotify music, save or extract audio files, obtain raw music for redistribution, bypass DRM, bypass advertisements, avoid Premium requirements, or otherwise circumvent Spotify's protections. I only want to listen to music normally using my own Spotify Premium account through my lightweight client. The music would only be played for normal listening, just like using the official Spotify application.

I hope someone can clarify this. thanks
