      <description>&lt;P&gt;on&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://developer.spotify.com/documentation/web-api/reference/#category-follow" target="_blank"&gt;https://developer.spotify.com/documentation/web-api/reference/#category-follow&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;the scope for "Get User's Followed Artists" that is called for is "user-follow-modify".&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;that is strange as "get followed artists" should only require read privileges.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;and sure enough, "user-follow-modify" scope raises an insufficient scope error, while "user-follow-read" does not, and works as would be expected.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;please fix the documentation in regard to this issue.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;kindly,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;flo&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-----------------------------------------------------------&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;premium account - archlinux - python 3.8 - spotipy - web API&lt;/P&gt;</description>
