Spotify API preview url returns null

Hello there,

We are using & testing Spotify API to integrate with our application. While we are accessing the API, almost 50% of the songs/tracks have preview_url null. We tested with the market as well.

For example, if I test the global or country chart for the top 50, almost half of them do not have a preview URL.

Is this normal? Do most of the tracks has a preview_url?

Hope things are well! Sometimes preview URLs are unavailable due to market restrictions, licensing restrictions or account specific settings (e.g. explicit content filter). Let me know if you have any other questions!

Hi again,

All those tracks I am talking about are available in my location and market.

Is there any other criteria not to have a preview url null?
