My Question or Issue

When you click on your profile settings the option for 'Explicit Content' is disabled and shows the message 'Explicit content cant be played on this Family account'. I have confirmed this does not occur with my profile on windows 10, and the feature works as expected in old release before profile setting code was refactored. (Tested old V1.1.26.501.gbe11e53b deb package) This seems to effect both deb, and snap packages of the current spotify release, currently running 1.1.56.595.g2d2da0de.

The person who manages your family plan has the option to disable explicit content for your account. It's essentially a parental control. See https://support.spotify.com/us/article/explicit-content/.

My wife and I both manage the account. This problem occurs in the Linux Application and not in the Windows Application without making any changes to our plan settings.

You should still check the plan settings.
