Are there any events emitted by the podcast embed that I can attach callbacks to? I'm interested in something like the player_state_changed.

Hey there,

I am Sushant, an engineer @ Spotify, and I think you'd be interested to know that Spotify has a new offering called the iFrame API that you can use to manage the embedded player from within your own page. The iFrame API also allows you to hook into playback events.

You can read more about using the iFrame API here, and also learn how to add event listeners for playback events in the references section.

Let us know if this is what you need and we'd love you hear if you have any feedback about the iFrame API. Please note that this offering is still in beta so there might be some changes in the future.

This is exactly what I needed, thanks! Would be nice to use this API in production, but unfortunately it's a no-go until it's in beta. What's the planned release date for the stable version?
