topic [Web API] get-recently-played endpoint track parameter? in Spotify for Developers

I was looking through the Web API documentation for the endpoint that gets the users most recently played 'play-history-objects', and I was curious on how to properly use the 'track' parameter?

Am I correct in assuming it can help me filter results to return only tracks that belong to a certain album?

I used the Get Track endpoint to find that the track object's 'id' property was equal to the album id. How can I use the following piece of information to filter recently played's results, assuming it is possible.

Using the provided console over at the Web API reference, I attempted to pass in "{id: "<album-id>"} as the "track" parameter, but it 400ed and told me "Bad type field, must be any of [track]"

Hey @Infinitay, thanks for reaching out here!

Hmm, I'd love to shed a light here. I'm afraid it looks like the type parameter does only support 'track' at the moment. The possibilities might expand in the future, so definitely keep an eye out. If you have any suggestions on what you'd like to add, I recommend creating a new idea on the Ideas board. That way, Spotify can keep track of it.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Happy coding,

Hubo
