My Question or Issue

for a tool im developing i need a way to get the latest release number spotify itself uses to update, and then using that number make a call to scdn like so:

https://upgrade.scdn.co/upgrade/client/win32-x86/spotify_installer-{VERSION_NUMBER}.exe

Ended up scraping the html of https://www.spotify.com/us/opensource/

Then iterating some numbers to find the right url.

An accessible api would be nice tho.
