Adding such an interface would make quickly liking songs, without switching applications or having to rely on an external web API, possible.</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>I propose the addition of the following DBus methods:</P><UL><LI>ToggleLike - Toggle the currently playing song between like/unliked.</LI><LI>Like - Explicitly set the 'Liked' status to true.</LI><LI>Unlike - Explicitly set the 'Liked' status to false.</LI></UL><P>Obviously the naming of these methods can follow whatever internal conventions are utilized.
