topic Use Refresh Token on Client-Side Website hosted by Github Pages in Spotify for Developers

Hi!

I'm new to using the spotify API. I created a javascript function that would display my most recently played songs. However, after 1 hour the OAuth Token would expire. I read that refresh tokens are supposed to stop this from occurring, but I'm not sure how I would implement this on my website. It's being hosted on github pages so everything must be completed client-side. Is it possible to do this, or do I need to use something like heroku? It's only my personal spotify that'll be using this program. Thank you so much!
