topic May I publish an open source dataset that contains Spotify Audio Features? in Spotify for Developers

I am a PhD student working on machine learning and music information retrieval. In one of my experiments I have gathered audio features from the Spotify API, for a few thousand tracks. No personal data or anything like that. Just track-specific values for acousticness, danceability, valence, and energy.

I'd like to eventually publish my research and make the results reproducible by releasing the dataset under an open source license (with Spotify attribution, of course). I've reviewed the Developer terms (https://developer.spotify.com/terms) but it's not clear to me whether I am allowed to do this.

BTW, I have found other publicly available data sets, such as

https://www.kaggle.com/datasets/tomigelo/spotify-audio-features

I think it's prohibited, because the Spotify Developer Policy says "You must not offer metadata, cover art, and/or Audio Preview Clips as a standalone service or product."

Hey there!

I'm majoring in Mecathronic Engineering and, if you had a dataset like that posted, I really need to talk to you

I downloaded it to use in a statistics assignment, since it requires us to play with like thousands of values and categories, and the data on the post was perfect, but a few days after I downloaded it was deleted, recently. If by some miracle you were the one that posted it, please email me (**bleep**) if you can
