Plan

Free/Premium

Country

Japan

My Question or Issue

We're having trouble with accessing our data from Bulk API. We've contacted Spotify Provider API Team but they said the team deals directly with the Provider Bulk APIs and the data that is generated from them so they're unable to help directly as they doesn't own server configurations. We would appreciate it if someone could give us a solution.

Our current situation is below.

(Our HTTPS Client does not support SNI,)
Mon, 29 Jun 2020 21:00:00 +0000 access was successful.
But after Tue, 30 Jun 2020 21:00:02 +0000 access fails.

These two host

accounts.spotify.com ( edge-web-russia.dual-gslb.spotify.com )
provider-api.spotify.com ( generic.wg.spotify.com, edge-web.dual-gslb.spotify.com )

has same IP address 35.186.224.25

If we access

https://35.186.224.25

via Firefox browser, we hit the error message like this.

the error message

This error message itself is no problem as it is because we access via IP address. The problem is that when you click the top right "Advanced..." , it shows "*.wg.spotify.com" but we think it should be "*.spotify.com".

Thanks,

Hey @victorplaylist1, I'm sorry to hear about the trouble that you have been having here. Unfortunately we do not support clients without SNI support at this time. If your client doesn't support SNI then you may want to look at alternative clients or an upgrade.
