when working with Rstudio: INVALID_CLIENT: Invalid redirect URI

Hey,

I am trying to get podcast data from the SpotifyAPI to my Rstudio project

I am able to connect to the APi and get the podcast Id's from a certain category I am looking for. but when I try to get the data from these ID's I am being re-directed to a webpage that says: INVALID_CLIENT: Invalid redirect URI

the current URI set on my application is:

http://localhost:8888/callback

i triple checked that the credentials are correct (they are anyway OK because I was able to connect and get the initial ID's)

I am using 'spotifyr' library in R

the function: get_shows(receives string of show ID's)
