I'm Looking for a programmer that knows how to interact with Spotify Friend Activity.

I want to be able to programmatically access the Friend Activity so I can automatically play the songs my friends are playing or worst case, be able to save the information.

There isn't a public api to do this.

Something you can do is making an app that can use the Get Currently Playing Track endpoint (scopes: user-read-playback-state and user-read-currently-playing), and let them log in. Then the access token and refresh token can be saved for later use.

I forgot that their names and email addresses must be added into the dash of your app also, because of the Development mode.

I don't want a solution that requires the other users to have to opt in. I want to be able to users that I follow. Is there another way to do it other than the API?

But there are some apps on AppStore that can do this. How do they work, any suggestion instead of apis?

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. I didn't know these apps exist. The app does what I want it to do other than automatically play the music my friend is playing. Spotifriends updates automatically and I only have to click on the song for it to start playing.
