A question about gift cards

I live in El Salvador (Actual currency is USD$), so i can´t get any gift cards on the local stores, but my uncle is planning to send me a code of a subscription card of spotify , he is in United States, but i dont know if the card is going to work on my account or not.

If not, is there anything that i could do to use that card?

Hey @Hyde1720,

Unfortunately, Spotify gift cards can only be redeemed on Spotify accounts registered in the same country where they were purchased.

Hope this clears things up.

So can´t i create a new account and reedem the code in that new account sharing the same country with the card?

Creating a new account will still set the account's country setting to El Salvador 🙂
