Spotify Premium and Paypal

I've been with Spotify for awhile now and love the service but my sub failed to renew the other day using my Paypal and it's asking me to update with a credit card (I no longer own one anymore) and have been using paypal through my bank and now it seems like no matter what I do I cannot renew my account. Is this a new policy change or an error on your guys end for some reason? I'd hate to leave the service but using a credit card is just not an option.

Thanks for the reply. the issue is in order to use paypal now you need to add a credit card it seems. Personally I paid mine off and no longer have one so it looks like I won't be able to renew which is a shame because I do like the service and have been with it for 2 years but I guess it is what it is at this point.

it would be a pity when you have to leave Spotify. So could you please take a look at this support site.

There you can find other payment methods like gift cards etc. and maybe you can find one you can use too 🙂
