My Question or Issue

Hi! I’ve been trying to connect my Spotify account to Alexa, but the app won’t allow it because it states that my

Spotify account is currently Free and not Premium.

I’ve checked my subscription status and it states ‘Free’ but it functions as a Premium account.

I have also checked my banking account to confirm I’m being charged for Premium, which I am.

My last payment was on 7/30/2018.

I’ve been trying to fix this for days, how do I go about this?

Welcome to the community!

First up, can you make sure that you're trying to connect the correct Spotify account to Alexa? It's possible to create multiple Spotify accounts, each with their own login details, saved music, and subscription. Please check to see if you have any other accounts.

I only have 1 account for Spotify, and I am the only user who has access to the Echo Dot
