Problem with Spotify Student abroad

Hello,

I am trying to take advantage of the Spotify Student offer, which I have succesfully verified. However, I ran into a problem when trying to pay. I am from the US going to school in Ireland, so it will not let me pay with my American card. When I go to my account to try and change my country for payment, the only country options it allows me to choose from are Ireland and Greece, where I resided previously.

How can I pay with my American card? I don't even understand why they would care where my payment card is from.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hey @zagreas,

Since you're studying in Ireland, and would like to use the Student Discount, your account's country setting needs to be set to Ireland and you need to have a payment method that's been issued in that same country.
