Does the 6.99 for 3 months offer apply to on-going subscriptions?

Pretty self-explanatory title.

Recently having subscribed to Spotify Premium, I kept in mind the 3 months for 6.99.

However, using my late night brain, I started to have suspicions whether I'm even eligible for an offer of such if I already have subscribed to Spotify Premium.

Is it possible that in late November, or whatever the date is, I pay 6.99 as my subscription goes and I get 2 months without paying whatsoever?

or would I, in this case, have to unsubscribe before the offer appears?

If you'd like to make use of an intro offer, you'll only be eligible if you have never had Premium before.

However, we also have a second offer which is a Win Back offer. You're eligible for this offer if you have had Premium in the past, but have been Free for a while. This offer is usually 3 months for the price of one.

Hey!

Thanks for your answer, however, I have a feeling you misunderstood me.

What I meant is that if I have an ongoing subscription and an offer of such appears, do I have it applied automatically, giving me 2 months of "payment vacation" or do I have to cancel my subscription in order to use the offer?

The introduction offer is for users that haven't had Premium before. The winback offer is for users that haven't had Premium in a while. This means that if you are currently on a subscription, you won't be eligible for one of these offers.

You might be eligible for the Student Discount or Premium for Family however.
