When can we pay everything with gift cards?

Why can't I redeem a gift card with Premium Family? It can't be that hard, because it works at Netflix. Here I can charge credits, use my credit card, etc. So if Netflix can do it, why can't Spotify do it?

I have a Premium for Family plan and have a few gift cards and can't redeem. Hey Guys and Girls at Spotify, please still enable this functionality. I think, many, many user wish this and again at Netflix this works wonderful!

I've already voted on this idea, but this idea is already from 2017 and still nothing has changed. 😞 Looks like Spotify not taking this seriously.

I don't know, it's a good idea to create a public vote for this topic? But, when I see, how many people has voted it looks bad.

The only way to redeem the gift cards you have is to first cancel your Premium for Family subscription, then apply the gift cards, and finally subscribe to a Family plan again.
