My Question or Issue

Hi,

I'm Swedish, but I'm living in Finland.
I recently changed my payment plan to PayPal.
(Previously my payment plan has been direct through my Swedish Mastercard).
On PayPal I'm Swedish with a Finnish address.
I first tried to change country to Finland on my Spotify account while moving my payment plan to PayPal, but it wasn't accepted as my nationality is Swedish on PayPal.
I'd like to keep my country to be Sweden on my Spotify account, as I'd prefer to follow Swedish news and updates on Spotify rather than Finnish.
However, I'm now going to continue my payment plan by my Finnish Visa-card through PayPal. My Finnish bank currency is in Euro, and therefore I'd like to also be debited in Euro. Right now my Spotify account informs me that debiting will continue in Swedish krona.

How can I change currency to Euro?

Thanks for reaching out to the Community.

In this case, you'll need to change your account's country setting to Finland to be charged in Euros.

Since your payment method has also been issued in Finland, there's, unfortunately, no other way. The payment method must always match your country setting.
