Does A Premium Code from Germany work in Russia?

This is not really a question about an Issue, I just didn't find anything about it online.

If I buy a Spotify Card in a store here in Germany, is someone in Russia able to use it?

Spotify gift cards can only be redeemed on Spotify accounts registered in the same country where they were purchased.

(For example, if you're living in the UK and wants to buy a gift card in Canada, you would need to have a Canada Spotify Account and use a payment method from Canada.)

Just to let you know, Spotify is not available in Russia at this moment.
