Updating Credit Card Information

Hi, I recently got a new credit card and went into Spotify to change my payment details. When I tried to update the card, it took me to the "verify student information" (enter your name and school) page. Now, when I first got this account I was receiving the student discount, but I have not been for many months since graduating. I now have a premium account (no discount), but the update payment method page does not seem to have gotten the message.

Help???

Hey @melissaet94,

This can be fixed by following these steps to refresh your account:

Log in to your account page.
Click Subscription in the menu on the left.
Click cancel your subscription and continue through the steps.
Enter your password and click CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION to complete.

Once that’s complete, simply resubscribe here with your new payment details.

That's it! You should now be able to continue your subscription without a problem 🙂

Hi Maxim, I'm also having trouble updating my credit crd exp date. The system keeps asking me to acccept a family subscription instead of premium. How do I proceed? I currently have premium with a discount via my capital one credit card.
