I have a Facebook linked free account that I just tried to make premium. However, I used a different email address as it asked for one linked to my student account. This has now made a separate account I didn't know existed have the premium plan and not my facebook linked one which I wanted to keep as it has all my songs etc. Is there any way to merge these accounts? I removed the premium from the new account but now my student id is linked to that account and not the one I want, meaning I cannot get the student discount and 3 months free. I really do not want to start a new account but would like the student premium plan on my old, facebook linked account.

Please help 🙂

See the problem is I don't want the new account, I want to keep my old one and transfer the linked student account to it so I can get premium for the student price and the 3 months free they offer. However, because the student plan activated on the new account I now cannot get the student plan on my old account as only one account can be linked to my student id. I did cancel the plan on my new account upon realising what had happened but it still won't let me link my student id to my old account.

So is there a way for me to remove the link of my student id from my new account so that I can link it instead to my original account and still get the offer?

Well, in order to have the best answer to your solution and as they might help on transfering your data with preserving the account info, i recommend you contact support through this help page and have them take a closer look.
