College information is being used

I have never used spotify and wanted to give it a try. I am a student so I put in my name and college and it says my information is already associated with another account. This can't be true because I have never even used spotify before today. Please help.

You should fill out the contact form, and someone from Spotify will be happy to help you within 24 hrs.

If you get an automated email directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you.

Okay, so someone is impersonating you and using your identity as a student? Like, they stole your identity and they are pretending to be a student? They probably hacked your student e-mail account.

Maybe you should try to find the person, and see if they could, like, go to your classes, write papers for you and take your exams... I mean, you know, if they really want to be you at college, then...

If they get really good grades, then they do all the work and you get a degree. If they get bad grades, then you tell the school your identity was stolen. You can't lose.
