- Is this the first time using Spotify ?

- Are you trying to subscribe to a special offer ?

- Which device are you trying to subscribe from ?

I'm in Canada. This is my first time trying to use spotify. I have tried
doing it with my computer and phone to see if it made a difference. So what
happen is i click on the premium and then it ask what payment i want to use
and i click Paypal then it ask for my email/phone number and password
that's connected with my Paypal account and so i fill that out and press
enter and then it ask for my debit or credit card information. And i am
paying with Paypal not with my credit or debit card so i get stuck there
and they give no other options. I just want to pay with Paypal and have a
normal Premium account. But either somethings wrong or spotify quit taking
just Paypal. So please tell me if there is a way around this.

Hi @user-removed,

Another thing we can try is using Incognito web page to process the payment.

Trying doing the same process on a different network may be good indication as well.

I actually also tried going incognito already and nothing changed. All i
want to know is if there is a way to get past having to put my credit/debit
info in. I mean that's why I'm trying to go paypal why would they want my
credit/debit info, doing paypal. Go and try making an account through
paypal and you will see what I mean.

Can you please take a screenshot of what exactly it is that you see when trying to pay through PayPal? Are you getting any sort of error message ?

Note: Make sure to hide any sensitive info when posting your screenshots

If your PayPal account is linked with a bank account instead of a debit/credit card, you won't be able to use is as a valid payment method unless the PayPal account is covered with GBP 25 (or equivalent in the national currency) for the initial verification process.

My Paypal account is linked with a bank account not a debit/credit card. So
I guess i just can't use spotify,i'll just have to look for something else

Hi @user-removed,

Unfortunately these are the minimum requirments in order to use PayPal as a vaild payment method.

However, there are some other ways to pay for a Premium account like gift cards for example.

If that's something you'd like to try, please provide me with your country of origin and i'll run a check if gift cards are available for you.
