Starting a Spotify Duo Account

I currently have a premium plan and want to move to a duo account with my boyfriend. However, every time I click "get started" on the duo page it says I am not eligible? Why is this the case? Why can't I switch to Duo?

Welcome to the Community! We're happy to shed some light on the situation.

Premium Duo is currently only available in select countries and hasn't launched in the US yet. We’d recommend checking out Premium Family in the meantime.
