Change payment card name

My Question or Issue

Need to change the payment card details for my family subscription which has now expired because the card fails to be accepted.

I use this card for other subscription services without any problems. The only thing I can think of is the name of the card holder has changed and there is no option to change this when try to upgrade the account.

Could this be the reason why the new card details fail and is there a way to change the name of the card holder on the account?

Hey @j63bc-vvf_t7b

The name on the card shouldn't affect the payment. If you have another card, could you try using that and see if it goes through. If not then i would recommend contacting Spotify Support (click here) and have them look into why your card is not allowing you to pay for your plan. (Click on i still need help to submit a ticket)

Also before you submit a ticket, make sure that your card is accepted by Spotify. Just in case they changed it.
