I live in Brazil, if i buy an gift card in Brazil and give to someone who isn't in Brazil, does the gift card still work?

Welcome to the Community!

The country of the account on which you'd like to redeem a gift card has to match the country in which the gift card was purchased. If you buy gift card from Brazil you'll only be able to activate it on Brazilian accounts. This is due to price differences for Premium in different countries and regions.

I have a similar question.

Does this mean if I live in Hong Kong and my friend lives in Malaysia there is no way for me to purchase a Spotify Gift card which she will be able to redeem in Malaysia?
