im going to get the duo subscription, id like the payment to come out on the day that my usual payment comes out but when i go to update my subscription it say itll come out 5 days before hand, will i need to cancel my current plan and get duo on the 6th (when my usual payment comes out) help?

Since the price is different with Premium Duo, your billing date might be brought forward, which explains why you see that you will be charged 5 days before your usual billing date.

Yes, you can cancel your current subscription (and you can resubscribe after your account has reverted to Spotify Free).
