i pay for family premium and still hear ads on google hub.....why??

Just to clarify, do you get ads only on your Google Hub or on any device you're logged in with your account?

First off, I'd recommend checking out this support page and also making sure that you have your Premium account linked to your Google device, as described here.

Make a complaint to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission.

It is the only way anything will be done about it.
