&lt;P&gt;When you subscribe to Premium (individual) and change it to a Family plan, all the features get updated immediately, but the system will not make a partial or full charge at that moment.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;After this Premium time expires, the new charge will be for the complete amount of the Family plan as it starts a new billing period with the current subscription.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;However, if you want more info about it, since we don't have access to users accounts from the Community, we'd recommend contacting our &lt;A href="https://www.spotify.com/about-us/contact/" target="_blank"&gt;Customer Support &lt;/A&gt;so they can check your account and help you further with any compensation (if needed).&lt;/P&gt;
