Changing from Family to normal Premium

At the moment I‘m part of a family subscription but I want to change it to my own premium subscription.
In my account settings I didn‘t saw the possibility to simply change the subscription Model. Do I Need to cancel it and start a new premium plan or is there a way to change the models without cancelling?

Thanks for coming to the Community.

That's right. 🙂 You'll first have to "cancel" your membership via the cancellation process for a paid subscription with the difference, that the cancellation of your membership in a Family plan has an instantaneous effect. More info on how to do that can be found here.

Once that's been done, you can subscribe to Premium at https://spotify.com/premium.
