My Question or Issue

Hello!
I have had a gift card for several month (almost a year) and never used it - now trying to, the code is not accepted. What can I do? Don't want to lose the credit!!
Error Message: "Da ist wohl etwas schiefgegangen. Versuch’s nochmal oder sieh dir dazu unseren Support-Bereich an." (btw. support-link is 404)
pls help!

Thanks for coming to the Community.

The error message you're seeing can appear for one of the following reasons...

you bought the Gift Card in another market (country)
you're trying to get more than 18 months Premium from Gift Cards at the same time
you may be typing in something wrong; sometimes a zero looks like an O, or a capital ‘i’ looks like a lowercase L.

You can try redeeming the card in an incognito window in your preferred browser at https://spotify.com/redeem.
