SPOTIFY DUO MIX FEATURES OF PLAYLIST MOOD IN BLEND?

Apparently Duo Mix is not a thing anymore, even though it is advertised. I want to find a way to make a chill mix or upbeat mix with my significant other through blend. How do I do that? That was the feature I was looking for when signing us up for Duo.

Hey!

It's true that the Duo and Family mixes have been deprecated. While the same functionality with the Chill Vs. Upbeat playlists can't be fully emulated, there are a couple of alternatives that might work for what you're trying to accomplish.

Blends will just create a continuously updated playlist based on your current music listening habits, but you can't control its tempo.

Rather, it might be better to create a collaborative playlist that you can both modify. You can start from scratch or quickly add the songs from any of the currently available chill playlists as a basis via drag and drop on desktop.
