Changing spotify payment country

So I live in the Netherlands, and have had the student premium for the longest time, but now that is about to expire. Seeing how expensive the premium plan is, my father wanted to help me out by paying for my subscription, but his credit card is based in India. Would it be possible to have my account location as the Netherlands, but just update my payment details to the credit card in India?

I just want to make sure because now it seems like I am able to enter details of that credit card and change my country, but I do want to enter the credit card details unless I am sure it will work, and not give me errors later.

Thanks for reaching out.

Unfortunately, that wouldn't work. To use a payment method that's been issued in India, your Spotify account's country setting must also be set to India.
