Student Discount for Family Plan?

My Question or Issue

So I pay for my families spotify accounts through the family option. I saw the student discount today and wanted to get it. Am I not able to get it? I went to change my plans after I was verified and it keeps taking me back to the same screen over and over. There are no links to the Hulu or showtime websites either. I'm just a student trying to help my family and save a bit of cash. Any help would be greatly appriciated!

Hi @TheSavageNoob and welcome to the Community! 🙂

The Student plan is a separate Premium offer and cannot be combined with the Family plan.
If you are currently the Family plan owner, and personally eligible for the Student one, you could cancel your Family subscription and apply for Student.
Someone else in your family could then subscribe as the Family plan owner if they wanted to continue getting the discounted lines for other users.

I have copied both plan's support pages for Family and Student here and hope you can find them useful.

I think he meant that you are counted as student within the family plan. Discount for student applied for a fraction of the family plan.
