Why isn’t my gift card code working

For Christmas, my mom got 2 6 month premium subscription gift cards. 1 worked, but it has run out. I keep trying the code for the second one but it says it’s invalid. The card has never been used before, and I have tried the code multiple times and replacing letters or numbers I may have gotten mixed up but there has been no difference

I recommend making sure that:

your account’s country or region settings match where the gift card was purchased.
the gift card was activated by the cashier if it was bought from a retail store.

It was bought online with the other one which worked and I’ve checked the article but nothing seems to be working. Is there anything else I can do?
