How do i remove my card from Spotify?

Hey everyone, i had just started the free premium trial, and interested in removing my card from Spotify for now, how do i do that? I only have an option to update, not remove

Thanks for posting in the Spotify Community, and welcome!

If you haven't done so already, I'd recommend canceling your free Premium trial by following the steps in this support article

(you can do this at any time during the trial to prevent your subscription from renewing at the end of the trial period):

Log in to spotify.com/account
Under Your plan, click Change plan
Scroll to Spotify Free and click Cancel Premium

This way, you'll remain on Premium until the trial runs out; and when it does, your account will revert to the free service, you won’t be charged afterwards, and the payment info will automatically get removed from your account overview.

Keep in mind that while your free Premium trial is active, the payment details will be available on your account and you won't be able to remove them manually. However, this info will be removed after the trial ends and your account reverts to the free service.
