My Question or Issue

I have recently moved to Japan and am now also a student. Therefore I would like to change my regular plan from a German Premium to a Japanese Premium Student. When I try to change the country it doesn't let me, and when I try to change the payment method to a Japanese one it tells me the payment method, which is now Japanese, doesn't match my German account. I'm clueless as to what to do next.

Thanks for reaching out.

In this case, you'll need to cancel your current subscription and wait for it to end. Once it has ended, you can change your country setting through the dropdown menu here.

Once that's done, you can subscribe to Premium Student using your payment method that's been issued in Japan at https://spotify.com/student.
