None of the below inmation is required. However, the more you provide the easier it will be for us to try and help.

Free/Premium

Country

Device

(iPhone 8, Samsung Galaxy 9, Macbook Pro late 2016)

Operating System

(iOS 10, Android Oreo, Windows 10,etc.)

My Question or Issue

I bought my gift card a week ago in sainsbury , first I tried to redeem on that day then because of my previous premium is still not expired it says you can't use it because there is still a premium plan. And then I try again today because tomorrow is the last day of my premium plan so I tried to use the code and it just showed up saying ”the code is not valid” so I want to know how do I use the code before my premium expired tomorrow

Thanks for coming to the Spotify Community. If you have a Premium subscription different than Premium Individual, like Duo, Family or other offers, you won't be able to redeem your card until your account reverts to Free. You can learn more about gift cards here.

Thanks for coming to the Community.

Unfortunately, some payment providers don't allow a Gift Card to be applied to continue the subscription.

You should be able to redeem it successfully once your current subscription has expired, though 🙂

Don't worry about losing any of your stuff. The worst thing that can happen is that you have to download your offline music onto your device(s) again.
