&lt;P&gt;Such behaviour can sometimes happen if you had failed payments before redeeming the card. The Premium time for the card will start on the regular billing date of your Premium, so if your previous payments all failed and you attempt to cover that payment with a gift card, then it will still begin from the usual billing date and not from the day you redeem it.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;When a payment fails, it will try again in a few days and if that fails, it will try and again, so on until eventually it either succeeds or the subscription gets cancelled. This can end up pushing the day on which you are charged back, but the billing date stays the same. This can create the illusion that you paid the full price for less time, but this isn't the case, the system is just covering the days with the failed payments.&lt;/P&gt;
