Finding Hulu with Premium

I currently have the individual premium plan, it changed from the student plan when I graduated. I currently still have hulu with my plan. Will I lose it with the price increase that's happening? Hulu isn't listed with what's included on the spotify site.

I currently pay for the individual premium subscription with Hulu and now recently audiobooks. Just received the email about plans changing and prices. Why is Hulu being taken off except for students?

I never got the email and was surprised when I could not login to hulu last night. I would also love an explanation. I assume it has to do with the new bundle agreement with Disney + and ESPN? Whatever the reason, I'm extremely disappointed.

You should be able to keep Hulu as part of your subscription, evenwith the new price, as long as you stay on your current plan and don't make any changes to it.

same here! i don't want disney+ offerings nor to pay them an extra subscription fee. and why exactly should spotify premium subscribers pay MORE for less??

My Question or Issue

I've been signed up for the student premium account for a while, and used to be able to access Hulu for free with the combined access. Now though, I can no longer get into Hulu. When I click on the start watching Hulu button under my services it just takes me to the main page where it asks me to select a plan. Is there another way to access it with my Spotify account?

I am also having this issue. Just recently, I have been unable to access my Hulu account since it keeps redirecting me back to the creating a subscription page even though it is connected to my Student Premium Account.

@Maxim - I didn't change anything but I've lost the ability to login to hulu. It keeps taking me to a pricing screen.

Thanks for your replies in this thread.

First up, for more info on what price changes mean for your account, head to Spotify.com or our FAQ page. We also outlined why we're making these changes over on For the Record.

Now, the only HULU offer we have available right now is Premium Student + Hulu. Premium Individual + Hulu is not available anymore and it hasn't been since 2023. However, users who activated it back then, still have access to HULU as part of the subscription.

Bear in mind that if you had Premium Individual + HULU and canceled the subscription at some point, you won't be able to activate it again because the offer is not available anymore. However, if you haven't canceled, you should still be able to access HULU from your Spotify account page. To do so, select Your Services under Account Overview and find Hulu.

If you're having issues accessing HULU, we suggest you log out of your Hulu account and then try to access it again from your Spotify account page. It's also a good idea to directly reach out to the Hulu support folks so that they can take a look at what's going on on their end.

Lastly, if you have any questions about the Disney+ / ESPN+ / Hulu bundle, you can check out this article from HULU's webpage because the offer is directly with them.

@Susan_GP, I have the premium student plan that includes Hulu for free but the problem is that I am no longer able to log into Hulu as of recently. I checked under services in Spotify and Hulu is still considered one of them that is available to me. However, every time I click on "Start Watching" Hulu, it takes me to the buying a bundle screen. Is there a solution?

I am frustrated because access to Hulu is still listed as one of the perks of Individual Premium within the app. It is extremely misleading. Why not update that view to avoid disappointment ? Only after following a long trail of steps did I learn that it isn’t free.

Hi, I'm having this issue recently and have done basic troubleshooting on my end, then reached out to Hulu customer support. They were unable to help me, but did escalate the issue to their tech team. Hulu customer support told me that I needed to contact Spotify about it instead. Is there a way to address the problem if neither service will resolve the issue?

Every time I go to Hulu Support folks to take a look at why I can't login to Hulu anymore, it takes me to pricing page and a MyDisney login page. I don't have an account with MyDisney nor want one. I have Spotify Premium with Hulu and understand I'm grandfathered into Hulu. I have made no changes to my account (except to update my credit card....does that count?) and have had Spotify Premium with Hulu for a long time. I've tried logging into my Spotify account as you instructed but still through Account Overview and Your Services, it wants me to login to MyDisney( which I can't do, because I don't have an account with them). and sign my for the pricing options. HELP??!!

Me too! I've had issues for about a week now and cannot access it at all. I've had the Spotify premium with Hulu for over 6 years and suddenly cannot access my account. I can sign into Disney+ with my Hulu login, but once I'm in it I can't do anything else except buy another subscription since I'm not a Disney+ subscriber. I can't even login to Hulu with my normal login credentials. I also went through all of the steps, but it won't let me in at all. Spotify's services page didn't do anything except take me to the login page for Hulu.

I have been watching Hulu (with ads) through my Spotify account for a long time up until a few days ago. According to my account page, my subscription is called "Spotify Premium with Hulu" but when I try to reactive Hulu through Spotify, it takes me to a page on Hulu where I have to select my plan and be charged for it. My account says I still have Hulu as an active subscription, but how can I access it?

When I sign in to my account on Hulu, it says I no longer have a subscription. When I go through my Spotify Account page, it says I have Premium with Hulu and under Services it lists Hulu. But if I click “start watching” it takes me to Hulu’s page and asks me to buy the service. I have not made any changes to my account (same card, same Premium account). I’ve used this service for over six years. If Hulu is no longer included in my Premium service it should be made clear!

When I look at my premium individual subscription, it shows a bulleted list that includes “access to Hulu”. Suddenly was signed out and now being prompted to create a Disney account. What’s the solution for that? Hulu is listed as a benefit of my plan!
