How to switch-off auto billing.

My Question or Issue

How do I deactivate automatic billing every month? I don't want Spotify to take money from my card automatically. I'd like to pay manually.

I was trying to figure this out too. Spotify put my card negative because it quit notifying me about not enough money and started charging me past my limits (which I don’t understand?) and I want to pay manually but it’s like they won’t allow that.

Hi Maxim, I think you misunderstood my question. I don't want to terminate my subscription, I want to pay manually at my own convenience.

No, I definitely understood your question. 🙂

If you'd like to pay manually, you can upgrade to Premium at https://spotify.com/premium and then cancel your subscription, so that it doesn't automatically charge you. That way, you can pay manually after the month of Premium is over.

Alternatively, you can buy one or multiple Spotify Gift Cards in a store near you which can be redeemed at https://spotify.com/redeem.
