How do I change my premium individual plan to basic individual

I used to have basic individual plan on my account, however I cancelled it as I was paying for both premuim and basic, I blocked the premium plan and then subscribed with google play, but now I want to change my plan to basic individual but I do not see the option on the app.

Hey @Rohim, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

Since you have paid for Premium through a third-party (Google Play), you will have to cancel your subscription through them, wait for your account to revert to Free, and subscribe to another plan here.

Thanks I'll try it, but slight problem, I used to pay for the basic premium with google play as well.

Hey @Rohim,

Thanks for the reply. It sounds like you have been paying for Premium on two different Spotify accounts using Google Play? If that is the case, I would recommend following these steps. Google will be the main point of contact if you have made any subscription payments through them, because they are the ones who handle payments.
