Hello,

I’m interested in gifting my boyfriend a Spotify Premium subscription for his birthday. I’ve been really happy with the service and would love for him to enjoy it too. We are based in Sofia, Bulgaria, and would prefer to handle everything virtually using an online payment method if possible.

If gifting a subscription online isn’t available, could you also let me know if there are any physical stores in Bulgaria where I can purchase a Spotify Premium gift card?

Could you guide me through the process of purchasing and gifting a subscription? Are there any country-specific steps I should be aware of?

You can check if Spotify Gift Cards are available in your country by using this link: https://support.spotify.com/uk/article/gift-cards/. Just change the “uk” in the link to your country’s code, and it will show you if they’re available.

I tried it for Bulgaria, and unfortunately, gift cards aren’t available there at the moment. Hopefully, they’ll be added in the future, though. 🙂

I would like to pay (online) for someone else’ subscription upgrade as a gift. They have an account but are not tech savvy. I would like to upgrade them from basic to premium. We also live far apart, so it would be easier if I could pay for them online.
