Switching from Premium Individual to Student

I am trying to switch my plan from premium individual to student plan but it is not letting me. Anytime that I click change plan and on the student one it is requiring me to add payment information but I have already applied a gift card when signing up for premium individual and want this to be applied to my new subscription of student.

Thanks for reaching out.

Unfortunately, a recurring payment method is required for subscribing to Premium Student.

Also, keep in mind that you can’t apply a gift card on discounted plans like Premium Student, Premium Family, Premium Duo, or trial offers. But you can use the remaining time on your account, but not redeem additional ones after switching plans.
