Spotify Premium with Hulu - Verification Code?

My Question or Issue

So I recently found out that with my Spotify Premium account, my monthly charge of $10.99 provides a receipt that states the product is "Spotify Premium with Hulu." I used to have the Student account but no longer am a student. So if my subscription says I have the Premium with Hulu benefit, where do I find the "code number on your receipt or the voucher" in order to validate my offer?

I have looked through all the billing receipts but there is no offer code provided. Why would my account say that I have the Premium with Hulu subscription but not provide the code? If some policy has changed, it is very misleading that my account still says Premium with Hulu.

Thanks for reaching out on the Community.

This is an interesting situation as the Premium and Hulu plan is a legacy one and is not being offered by Spotify any longer. Since you already have it active on your account you should be able to follow the steps here to activate it and make sure your Hulu account is linked to the Spotify subscription.

You should be able to activate your Hulu (With Ads) plan from your services page. Could you let us know on what page you are you seeing the need for a code number?

Hi,

Same here. I clicked "start watching" on my service page, it redirected me to the hulu website. however, even after I login my hulu account that basically shares the same email as spotify, I still cannot see any active subscription there.

Thank you for joining the conversation.

In these cases, we'd first recommend checking the currently active plan on your Account page just to make sure it’s Premium Student. If the plan is different, it's expected that the app doesn't show an active Hulu subscription since this is only available for the Premium Student subscription at the moment.

If your plan is Premium Student, make sure you've followed the steps to activate Hulu mentioned in this article.

I am also experiencing this issue- super frustrating.
